JOB SUMMARY:
The core mission of the Scheduler is to enable timely patient care and seamless growth while fostering a positive team member experience. The Scheduler staffs, plots and troubleshoots ownership of visits within our electronical medical records system and communicates with the field team, intake, and agency leadership to stay on top of patient needs and team member availability. They are the agency’s air traffic controller for home health visits and are a critical agency hub for clinicians, intake, and leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
- Assists Clinical Supervisors and Case Managers daily with visit schedule to maintain continuity of care.
- Responsible for the collection, management and reporting of scheduling information
- Performs general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, filing, and telephone services.
- Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information.
- Ability to work well and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and patients.
- Develops a cooperative relationship and communicates effectively and professionally with health personnel.
- Other duties as assigned by Administrator.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
- Medical experience preferred.
- Prior scheduling experience preferred.
- Well organized, and shows excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of computers with Word Document and Excel experience.
- Basic medical terminology.
- Flexible to changing work demands and circumstances.
- Ability to carry out directions, exercise initiative and independent judgement.
- Critical thinking skills, and ability to work well with both inner office staff, and clinical staff.
JOB DETAILS:
- 40 hours a week in office

- Reports to Agency Administrator and Nursing Clinical Supervisors
