Full Time Hospice CNA
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Full Time Hospice CNA to join our team. As a Hospice CNA, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients in their end-of-life journey. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and support during this difficult time. Your role will be critical in helping our patients maintain their dignity and comfort as they transition from this life.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active CNA license in the state of Oregon
- At least 1 year of experience working as a CNA in a hospice or home health setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with patients at the end of life
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes or in a hospice facility
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report changes in patients' condition to the interdisciplinary team
- Assist with medication management and administration as directed by the RN
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
