As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in our Health Care Services team, you will play a critical role in providing compassionate care to our patients. You will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Additionally, you will monitor and record vital signs, assist with medical procedures, and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Your dedication and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Self-directing with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Comfort with issues of death/dying
- Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort in providing specialized care to the terminally ill
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail, and impaired
