About the Position 

The LVN Home Health Admin Assistant is responsible for routine clerical matters and assuring that documents flow in a coordinated and efficient manner. This team member keeps the agency running smoothly by attending to the details, filling gaps, and minimizing chaos wherever possible. 

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Job responsibilities include:

  • First on answering the phones and channeling calls appropriately 
  • Open up the office and update office dashboard/metrics (as assigned by DPCS) 
  • Maintain files, office supplies, postage, and general office condition in an orderly manner
  • Assist in case conferences (prepare the conference room, sign-in sheets, and other documents needed for the meeting; order food) 
  • Assist in DME follow-up and ordering medical supplies 
  • Coordinate with full-time/part-time clinicians on updating Google calendars for availability 
  • Assist in checking/reviewing unassigned therapy evaluations
  • Provide assistance to the Home Health and Hospice DPCS, preserving the confidential nature of items
  • Work with Impact HR team (assisting with HR follow-ups, welcoming new hires) 
  • Other duties as assigned by the DPCS
  • Unpack deliveries, retrieve mail, scan NOMNC, and respond to external medical requests

  • Licensed LVN 
  • Clinical experience in home health  
  • Personal computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft/Google 
  • Knowledge of medical terminology 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in problem solving and critical thinking
