At Impact Healthcare, we have an exciting opportunity for a CEO in Training (CIT)! As our agencies and opportunities continue to expand, we are currently looking for driven, compassionate, ownership-minded, and solution-focused leaders who will complete our proven CEO in training program and then go on to lead one of our fantastic agencies. About the Position
Serving as an Impact Senior Executive Director/CEO is challenging, and it requires a tremendous amount of effort, dedication, knowledge, passion, and skill. Becoming one, however, leads to a rewarding and exciting career that will allow you to give back to others by leading a healthcare team that provides meaningful services to those in need.
As a CEO in Training, you will begin your Impact career studying alongside one of our existing CEOs to learn the ins and outs of leading a home health and/or hospice agency. Our CEO mentors are currently operating successful agencies, so this is an amazing opportunity to learn from those with years of experience on how to lead an agency that is both a great place to work and a great place to receive care!
We anticipate a training period of around six months in the Salt Lake City, UT area, San Francisco, CA area, or Los Angeles, CA area, after which you would relocate from the training location to the agency location where you will take on your new role as CEO! Interested candidates should begin this program with the expectation and willingness to relocate to where our needs/opportunities arise.

- Self-motivated, with a hunger to learn all you can about the home health and hospice industry
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in leadership, management, and/or the healthcare industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of leadership skills
- Strong communication and public relations skills
Responsibilities during Training:
- Complete a demanding, comprehensive, self-guided training program over a period of approximately 25 weeks
- Shadow different team members in the agency to learn the ins and outs of each position
- Complete reading assignments and written tasks to hone your leadership skills and advance your knowledge of the industry
- Invest in us as we invest in you, and find ways to add value even while still in training
Responsibilities after Training:
After training, you will relocate to the agency where you will have an opportunity to become a CEO! As a the leader of a home health/hospice agency, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Planning, directing and evaluating operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services.
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations
- Assures that all business conduct is above minimum standards required by law and will not condone any activities that achieve results through violation of the law, unethical business or patient care practices.
- Fiscal planning, budgeting and management of all operations in accordance with fiscal parameters.
- Organize and direct the ongoing functions of the agency.
- Recruiting, employing and retaining qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Establishing and maintaining effective channels of communication.
- In conjunction with the Director of Patient Care Services, ensuring all home health and hospice personnel have current clinical information and current practices and ensuring that a clinical manager is available during all operating hours.
- Directing and monitoring organizational performance improvement activities.
- Ensuring staff development including orientation, in-service education, continuing education and evaluation of staff.
- Ensuring collaboration with agencies and vendors for effective management of services.
- Ensuring standards of ethical business and clinical practice are maintained
